![]() ![]() ![]() I am attaching an Intel quad NIC interface specifically for the pfSense to connect my Cisco SG-300 switch to the HP Z600. So my question of the day for me, is after install Proxmox 5.3, how do I properly switch over to openvswitch? If I am migrating my pfSense layout, I have about 10 VLANs that I need to make work as well as proper setup of the management interface for the host Proxmox host. I also thought I would try my hand with openvswitch as opposed to Linux bridges, but all of the time that I have tried to get create on my interface conf file, I usually found myself locked out of my system. Because I wanted to go big on my setup, I thought that I would move my pfSense, FreeNAS, and a few other VM's and then do a lot of containers (both lxc as well as docker). ![]() After trying my hand with a i7 laptop and attached USB drives, I decided to bite the bullet and run Proxmox on a HP Z600 server. ![]()
